Move Up!

Focus Scripture:
Philippians 3:14 – “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Overview

In the kingdom of God, there’s no room for spiritual stagnation. We are called to move up—to grow in grace, to mature in faith, and to advance in purpose. Moving up doesn’t always mean changing location, status, or position in the natural. It means progressing in the Spirit—getting stronger, wiser, and more aligned with God’s will.

God has more for you. More depth. More anointing. More responsibility. But you must be willing to let go of what was and press forward to what lies ahead. It’s time to move out of complacency and move up in Christ.

Move Up in Spiritual Maturity

Growth is not optional—it’s essential. God is developing your character to match your calling.

  • Moving up means leaving behind childish thinking and embracing spiritual responsibility. (1 Corinthians 13:11)
  • It requires intentional time in the Word to grow in wisdom and discernment. (Hebrews 5:14)
  • God wants to trust you with more, but He’s waiting for you to grow into it. (Luke 16:10)
  • Moving up spiritually means you’re no longer tossed by every wind of doctrine. (Ephesians 4:14)

Move Up in Purpose

You were created on purpose, for purpose. But stepping into that purpose requires movement—obedience, action, and faith.

  • You cannot fulfill your calling while standing still. (James 2:17)
  • Move up by saying “yes” to the next assignment, even if it stretches you.
  • God promotes those who are faithful in the hidden place. (Matthew 6:6)
  • Your next level often requires leaving your comfort zone behind. (Genesis 12:1)

Move Up in Power and Prayer

As we ascend spiritually, we also gain access to greater authority in prayer, worship, and impact.

  • Moving up requires going deeper in intimacy with God.
  • The higher you go, the more clearly you hear. (Jeremiah 33:3)
  • God elevates those who humble themselves in prayer and dependence. (James 4:10)
  • As you move up, you become a vessel for greater Kingdom impact. (2 Timothy 2:21)

Conclusion

God is calling you higher. Don’t settle for surface-level faith or half-hearted obedience. Shake off stagnation. Break through hesitation. There’s more waiting for you—more anointing, more purpose, more breakthrough. Move up! Press forward. Step out. Climb higher in the Spirit and walk boldly into what God has already prepared for you.
